Pricing
What does first aid training cost in regional North West NSW?
Regional and remote pricing works differently to the city. Here's what drives the cost of first aid training outside the metro discount market.
Search for a first aid course in a capital city and you'll find rock-bottom prices, lots of providers competing for individual seats. Regional and remote North West NSW works differently, and it pays to understand why before you compare quotes.
Public seats vs onsite delivery
A publicly scheduled course charges per seat. Onsite delivery, where a trainer comes to your workplace, is usually priced per person for a group, with a flat day rate for smaller teams. For a crew of six or more, onsite is often better value once you count the travel and downtime you save sending people out one at a time.
Why regional can cost more than the city
- Fewer providers means less price competition than the metro market.
- Trainers travel further, and classes are often smaller.
- Remote and isolated-site courses cover more, and take longer.
What a good quote includes
Look past the headline number. A fair onsite quote should fold in equipment and consumables, assessment, certificates, a group register, and be clear about travel. We quote travel up front for regional and remote sites, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
How we price it
We're not the cheapest seat in the city, we're the team that turns up to your site, regional or remote, with our own practitioners and gets your people genuinely ready. Tell us your course, headcount and location and we'll come back with a fixed price.
